front mount removal on 3.1

I have a 3.1 that i need to change head gaskets on, but i see the pass side dogbone mount has a star bolt. How do I remove that? Thanks

ThanksIf it looks like this (http://partners.drivewerks.com/catalog/images/tools2003/LIS-27740.jpg), the bit is called a Torx bit. Most autopart stores or hardware stores should carry what you need.

yup tried that, had the correct fit, and all it did was strip the bolt!

Strip the bolt or round out the head? If it stripped the bolt, your in trouble. If you just rounded out the head, you'll probably have to either weld on another bolt to the top of that one or grind down the head to fit a socket on. A machine shop may be able to give you some advice.

does anyone know what size torx this is?
