okay.. I had just gotten my windows tinted (looks sweet btw) :naughty: and I was driving back home. The car started normally and there was no problem there. I start driving down the street for a couple of block and then I'm stopped at a red light. I was pressing the brake and out of nowhere the car just lunged forward just went vroom on its own for a little bit and the car went forward. Good thing I was stepping on the brake pretty hard. I was like WTF  cause it just gave gas to itself I guess. Then, I passed by my friends house who lives on that same block and I was waiting for him to come out and I was stopped infront of his house on [D] with the brake pressed and vroom again.. the car lunges forward and then dies. It takes me a couple of cranks to start it back up and the whole way back home I had to put the car on neutral and control the RPM's with the gas pedal cause if i let it go, the car would get too low and eventually die. It wouldnt automatically fall to 0 and die but it stay at around 500 for a little bit and just fall. I drove it today and realized it doesnt do it when its cold. What could be wrong?

could be throttle position sensor, or maybe some vacuum problem???

Hm, maybe it can be your Ignition Control Module. That or your throttle position sensor, if you want you can CHECK to see if your Ignition Control Module, by taking it to Autozone or Orielly Auto Paets if you got them there, for free too. If its not the ICM then im stumped.

throttle position sensor (tps) or idle air control (iac)

try scanning for codes... and replacing one or both of those...

KISS, spark plugs , plug wires, ignition cap, good gas, fuel filter, fuel pump

while all that is good for a routine tune-up... it won't fix his problem, his is electrical, he needs to check the tps and iac... also run codes if he can

okay.. did the paper-clip check thing and got code 12 on and on and on over like 10 times so there are no other codes and I know code 12 is normal.

A car needs to be tuned every 3 months or 30K miles.. which ever comes first..
