Transverse Leaf ??

Hi folks new to this forum. I have a 94 olds cutlass supream with a broken rear leaf any one know of an easy fix that wont cost my first unborn child. :)

You have three options:
1. Go to dealer, purchase brand new leaf.
(Very expensive)
2. Go to junkyard, purchase used leaf.
(Should be under 100 bucks)
3. Get aftermarket coil-over spring struts. These totally eliminate the need for a leaf altogether.
(Probably around 400 bucks)
Sorry, but those are you only options. And I hope you do your own wrenching, because if you throw labor in there it will be more.

Thats what i was afraid of. This really is a stupid design a fiberglass spring to hold up a car :screwy: I got one from the wreckers for $30 canadian. Ya I do my own work. This is my winter beater didnt want to try and attack those 11 year old rusty bolts. Thanks for the reply. :cheers:
