HELP! - Car still won't stay started!

Hello, in the past two weeks, I've replaced my instrument cluster twice and my ignition cylinder, but the car (1998 GA GT) still won't stay started (kills after a second or two, likely due to something related to the anti-theft mechanism).
I've tried the reprogramming trick of letting the car sit for 10 minutes after it kills, taking the key out, and restarting, but to no avail.
Any other ideas out there as to what else I should check? I'm getting tired of carpooling to work the last 2 weeks!
Thanks!
Ryan

There are several questions I need to ask. Did the security light come on when it died? If yes then you are correct. If not then there may be something else causing the problem. If the security light came on then the reprograming sequence is to turn the key on and leave it on for 10 minutes, turn it off for 10 seconds and repeat. On the third time try to start the car. If that does not work then try another original key. If that doesn't work you may have to take the car to the dealer to have it reset.
If the car turns over and does not start then make sure you are getting fuel and spark. It is possible that the fuel pump has gone bad and not sending any fuel to the injectors. Also you may have a problem with the ignition module. So check for fuel and spark. Of course the security system will disconnect the fuel pump circuit. But if the light is not on then the issue is probably elsewhere.

It does turn over and start (but only for a second or so before dying). And yes, the Anti-Theft light comes on and blinks for a few seconds, then remains lit with the rest of the lights.
I noticed your reprogram sequence was slightly different than what I had been trying. You mentioned trying to start the car only after doing the 10-minute exercise three times. I had been trying to start it after each interval. Might this make a difference?

How I reset my anti theft was, attempted to start car (light came on) left key in on position for 10min (light goes off) turn off for 2 minutes, and repeated the process 3 times, on third time it started and haven't had a prob since.
