decals can be a bugger when you have lots to put on like the d1 grandprix models,
i am currently starting on a d1 grandprix model, and its the first time i am dealing with such detailed and so much decals on a model.
what are some techniques i can use? and look out for?
thanks so much this would help alot

look through a few FAQs, there's an ecellent one about seat decals, and that explains the use of micro sol/set, which is a life saver.
be careful some laquer (cellulose ?) will destroy your decals and will literally melt them.
and for those decals that don't want to slide into the desired place or stick where you dont want them to use this method:
add a tiny amount (literally, just a drop) of washing-up liquid to your decal water, this will make it soo much earier to work with decals, they'll slide easier, and it really helps with positioning them.
i hope this was somehow halpful, despite how vague it was.
if you need more help on other stuff, make another thread, if its a different topic (that's not in the FAQs, oh an the search function is infinitely helpful) or PM me or some of the other modelers, there are some amazing guys/gals here.
enjoy !
p.s.
welcome to AF.
