Here is a vid of the new fastest FWD 3800:

The next pass we ran with 27psi and set our top mph for the night. Since there was no VHT laid down the 330 dropped back down and 10.16 was all we had. 112.78mph in the 1/8th and 143.81 in the ¼ isn’t too bad though.
We knew we needed more VHT, so again we asked. “Sorry guys, boss is watching” as he shot 2 puny squirts down. With 28psi, we knew this pass would still need some miracle traction for the 9s. The light came down and the car launched. About 1.5 seconds later the turbo reached full spool and the tires decided they were done trying. A huge billow of smoke rolled from under the car and it drifted towards the wall. Matt let out and finished with a 20 second pass going 36mph. The night was done. Racing on a track this slick wasn’t safe anymore, so we called it a night.
He still uses the stock M90 but added a large turbo.. His best time without the turbo was 10.8@125mph.. He still drives it back and forth to the track and it is completely streetable. Sick no?

bahh if you wanted real v6 performance you should of bought a GN....
god damn superchargers robbin all that power just to run 12 PSI...... Makes me sicker than a dog that just ate his own crap.
The seriesII is slowly catching up to the GN 3.8L
Once the turbo setups become more and more common I think the seriesII will finally show all that it is capable of.
10.0@148mph is moving, here are the benefits of keeping the M90 on there:
the power advantages of my kit are this:
1. I can run a large blower cam. This makes more power with the same boost, than a smaller reverse split turbo cam would.
2. I have dual intercooling. Boost in the 20's with near ambient temps makes hella power on lower octane with no chance of detonating. Head gaskets, engines, etc last a lot longer.
3. I can run a lower stall converter, which is more efficient and puts more of the engine power to the wheels.
4. I can run a larger, more efficient turbo than otherwise possible.
Could I change over to just a turbo? Sure, but I would lose all four of the benefits listed above. I have to admit the 50 pounds of weight savings is tempting, but the potential for gains in power is not there. My car is holding up nicely and the only thing holding me back from making more power is turning the boost knob up.

Yeah it was just using the stock M90(10.8@125) and now they added a turbo to it. So now it is dual charged and dual IC'd(10.1@148 1.6 60').
The M90 makes boost until the turbo spools then gets set to bypass at a certain boost level and the turbo takes over.
