They all have the same engine. The differences are in luxury options. I can't tell you the specifics, but that's basically it.

Read it. No where does it mention the difference of features for LS RS and GS, they do go over the different engines and such tho.

ok sorry they used to be listed in there, The FAQ got some remodeling a few months ago so maybe it slipped through the cracks.
to answer your question...
Least to most: RS,LS,GS,GS-R
RS is base, LS slightly more options, GS fully loaded, GS-R fully loaded with hopped up engine.
Doesn't really matter however because it seems that regardless of trim level you could buy any option you wanted except for the engine from the factory. They just weren't standard on that particular model. I'd say the best bet is to just look at each individual car and see if it has the features you want.

Thanks. Dumb question, any GS-R's or Type-R's in auto? I want the hopped up engine but I'm lazy :D

There are no GS-R's or type R's with automatics stock. They call came with 5 speed transmissions. The GSR transmission is different from the type R transmission (type R slightly shorter gear ratios). Only the RS, LS, and GS came with automatic transmissions and the same engine.

looking at getting one a GS auto for college. I want it to last 5-10 years, how many miles would it go if driven nicely with occasional spirited driving and kept up on maintenence? Say I bought it with 60-100k miles.

If you bought the car and it already had it's timing belt and water pump changed... I really can't think of anything you should need for another 5 years or so.

How reliable are GS-R's as a long term daily driver vs a GS or a LS? I want a peppy car so I'm leaning towards the GS-R but if its unreliable cause its somewhat performance I dont want it, what is your input on this?

They are just as reliable as the GS/LS Integras. It just doesn't come in an auto transmission, that's the only neg. as far as daily driving IMO.

how long will a decently maintained gs-r last in years and mileage?

Uh... forever. I met a guy with a 1995 GSR with 155K miles on it... It was purring nicely, and he said he hadn't had any major trouble with it.

my 93 has about 175,000 on it. No major problems ever. most severe thing was a water pump at about 150,000, and a starter at about 165,000.
Oh and I beat the hell out of it.... alot.

good to know, any major differences between the years 94-1999 with the GS-Rs?

Those years are all the same. The only difference is that in 1996 they turned into OBDII instead of OBDI (94,95). There is a slight extra kick in the OBDI GSR's in my opinion. OBDII seemed to kinda knock a little edge off the car, but they run the same time, so it could just as easily be my imagination.

dumb question but is there an i/h/e that improves flow but doesn't make it loud? I dont want a loud exhaust I want high-flow for better performance/fuel economy and is there a price/manufacture you'd suggest?

How dependable are they?
1997 LS - 172,000 miles
repairs and replacements: 1 battery; 1 replacement of front brakes and pads; several sets of tires; timing belt, drive belts, and water pump (not necessary but engine open anyway) at 115,000 miles for a total of $750; 1 radiator at 120,000 miles; oil changed every 7,500 miles
reliability: just drove the car during a hurricane evacuation for 24 hours continuously in 1st and 2nd gear with the A/C at full blast - not a problem
