I'm going to be replacing the outer tie rod ends in my ma's '98 Caravan tomorrow, I have never worked on one of these vans before, anything I should be aware of?

They are pretty standard. You will need a tie-rod tool or puller to get them loose once you have the nuts off. Mark their location on the sleeve so that you can get them back as close to where they were when you removed the old ones. You can do this with paint or a marker. Once you have the new ones on take to an alignment shop and have an alignment done. Regardless of how careful you are you just can't get them back in the exact same location.

when i replace outer tie rods, i like to count the revolutions it takes to unscrew it, then with the new one screw it in the same amount of turns, by doing that, usually the alignment will be just like it was before. but it never hurts to get your alignment checked when you finish anyway

Thanks guys, it's going in for an alignment later this week, and changing them was a lot easier than I expected.
