Ive heard it all about gs-t stock boost. Some say 14 some say 9 its all different. OK well my question is my boost gauge it only reading 7psi. I am running the stock turbo with hard IC pipes, injen intake and greddy type s BOV and my mbc. I messed woth the mbc but it wont change. The 7 psi feels like nothing, almost no boost at all. How do i turn it up cause my mbc aint doin sh!t. it feels like my gs eclipse would beat this.

You sure you didnt put your mbc in backwards...Because that can cause low boost numbers/crap performance. If it's really that bad then just plug the lines back into your factory boost controller until you can get a new boost controller. Also I think a good boost on the T-25 is about 16psi and when I had mine I was running about 18.

14 is stock if your turbo is in good condition. but i agree with his post make sure it is hooked up right. I have mine hooked up right and it won't boost higher than 12 .. 9psi is on the 1g.. stock

1g spring pressre is 9-10 psi, factory BCS sets it to 11.
2g spring pressure is 7 psi, BCS sets it to ~14.
You are getting the spring pressure only, so the MBC isn't doing shit. Installing the MBC backwards will give you maximum boost, since there will be no way to get the ball off the seat, a check valve facing the wrong way essentially... I would check over all the plumbing, fromthe boost source used, to the MBC, to the WG actuator.

Ok let's try to eliminate the MBC as the source of the problem. Take it off and route the lines normally. If you unplugged the BCS then put that back on or you will run infinite boost = bad.
If it boosted around 11-12 psi, then obviously your MBC is at fault. Take it back for a new one and make sure the lines are correct and the screw is fitting in correctly.
If you still only boost 7psi i would think you have a MASSIVE boost leak. Run the boost leak test as shown in the VFAQ and come back with the results. Even small boost leaks can make our cars run like shit, that's just how it is. Pressure test up to 20psi and fix all the leaks.
If it STILL only boosts to 7psi after you fix the leaks, check for exhaust leaks. Take off the manifold and turbo and use new gaskets if necessary.
If all of this doesn't fix it, post here and we'll see what else we can do.

The stock boost guage blows. I hope your not relying on that POS to give you an accurate reading.

If he has a known value for boost, I think he would be running a real boost gauge. But in case you are using the stock gauge, that's just the ECU's ESTIMATE on what you're running based on throttle position etc.

No im relying on my autometer boost gauge, but ill test it again cause the first time i tested it i found nothing. But ill do it again and let yall know whats goin on

ok i think im gonna take my mbc out and plug back up the stocl boost solonoid. The only problem is the mbc was always hooked up and i dont know where to hook each wire up? Do any of u guys know which wires go where to the solonoid? Thanks a lot

look up "the proper way to install a mbc" in the tech articles on www.dsmtuner.com my car was doing this recently and the problem was a hose had come loose andf i re-hooked it up wrong, so just look up that and double check it with your mbc before you take it off, and if it is hooked up right, then yea go ahead and take it off.

ok i disconnected my mbc today and hooked everything back up to the stock solonoid. Its still running only 7 psi! why is this?

did this problem just happen at one time, like drop from 11 or w/e to 6 in like a second flat or was it... overtiem or do u know? I had a problem where my laser was runnin 11 pounds stock and then i pulled up beside a prelude adn he roasted me. looked at my boost gauge and it said i was only runnin like 6-7 pounds. popped the hood and was like.. wtf is wrong with this thing again? then i realized that the conecting rod from the actuator to the manifold fell off, cuse the pin fell out. check that first before u start buyin a new turbo or anything like that
