rear brakes

how do you get the drum off to replace the rear brakes

Do you have rear disks or rear drums on your 2002? The 2002+ have floating rotors, so you just have to remove the caliper bracket (two BIG hex head bolts on the back of backing plate) & the rotor will pull right off.

Looks like he has a 2002.

If he has drums it must be a 2wd.

To remove the drums you have to back off the brake pads through the access hold in the back side.

I have 68K on my oem rear drums.
