I have a base 3000gt '95 and i want to put turbo in it. Is this possible? If so how much would it cost? And how much could i put in beacuse i want to know if it is posible to get it up to 500hp? What should i buy to get the best performance out of my car to add more HP?
Thanks,
cabot

its very expensive and tidious to put a turbo on an NA 3000GT. A few people have done it but i don't recommend it , you would be better off selling your base and buying a VR4. If you want to mod your NA engine then the most HP you would be able to get is like 270-280 HP. Go to www.Dynamicracing.com for their staged upgrades.

yar... i agree with u diesal.... natural aspirated forced induction = turbo NA, needs a lot of work and not easily done... u also need a trustable mechnic to do it

i have a 97 3000gt base. I was wanting to know if there is any way to put turbo on it, even if it means an engine swap. If i could do an engine swap and put in a JDM twin turbo engine, what other mods would have to be done. I found one for about 2 grand with trans, ecu, and most everything connected directly to the engine. Is it possible, or is there any other way to make my base model sohc 3.0 fast.
