Coupla weekend kills

Well, I might the girlfriends 'rents this weekend, and that went good...considering it was at her cousin's wedding. So after the rehersal dinner on Friday, me and the girlfriend headed out to cruises the loop, see if we could get any looptards to run before heading home. First race was no contest, me against an E36 ////M which was dead fucking sexy, I think he just toyed with me to show off, I didn't mind, and both times we "raced" he just owned me wiht a capital P.

Second run was off the loop against an Impala, I think an SS. He had been moving pretty quick through traffic, and ended up next to me at a light. He looked over and nodded, and I kinda nodded back, not sure if he was noding at my girlfreind or not (I've never raced with a girl in the car before). Anyways, light goes green, and I take off kinda hard, but he doesn't. Right as we get to the other end of the intersection and Im doing about 20 (I had let off), he flys by WOT, and I down shift as much as the computer would let me and jump on it. I kill his pull when hes about a half length up, and start puling him back in. I past him at 50, at 75 I was about a half length up, and at 90 he was about a length back. I shut down at 100, and he doesn't pull back up next to me.

Next race was against a 5.0 (or at elast a fox body), not sure what mods if any. He had a cowl induction hood but that ws all that was visable. First light I cant really get him to go at it, but I give it a bit of gas and get outa the hole kinda quick, and he sticks at my rear fender all the way up to the next light. Nixt light comes, and I look over and he turns down his radio, does the Vin Diesel seat adjustment, and has "the look" on his face. I pop it down into first, a power brake to 2K RPM, and get a pretty nice launch when the light goes green. He had a bad reaction, and my rear fender was at his nose when he got on it, but I pulled decently up to about a length without him catching up. Same thing, he wouldn't get next to me after I won.

Third race happened alst night after I dropped my girlfreind off at the hotel with her mom (she was staying in Como). I decided to kill some time before heading back and dealing with highschool age drama in college (I feel like Im back in highschool out here with all the shit that happens), and crusie around a bit. I try to get a race with some guy in a dual exhaust and ugly ass front fascia Beretta all night, but he never bites. However, I did get a run against older model (mid ninties) Accord. Didn't see if it was the 4 or the six, but it had an exhaust, or at least a fart can.

Anyways, we kinda do the whole, gun it a bit next to each other thing a few times, and finally comming off a light going about 5 (it just turned green), he punches it, and I do to. Pass him real easy, take it up to about 85-90 when I shut down with him about three lengths back. That was all for last night, I\and after wasting nearly a half tank waiting for something decent, I decided to call it a night, and headed back home.

Nice races...im really surrised you took the SS, I was sure hed have you, especially at higher speeds....Good beating the foxbody, and nice death on the M3

well, looking ahead, at cars that are the same "age" as mine going for sale this year (2003s for sale now), with the same amount of miles I should have, same packages, people are looking for high 20k-very low 30k...I'd be happy getting 24/25 for her, depending on the market for the car Im looking for next year. I've pretty much settled on the car I want now, and it just depends on the market at the time.

i'm also suprised on the ss....more torque more horsepower....but meh, a win is a win...congrats...
