Well first off reading the other posts in this section would be helpful. THere is a ton of good advice, and a ton of speeding threads to find that advice in.
Second, my advice is to argue just about any ticket...generally tickets are given, and if you go to court and plead not guilty, you meet with the DA, assistant DA, or the cop who pulled you over, and they offer you a lesser charge to plead guilty to. This saves the judge time, you time, and everybody makes out better. You pay a fine, county makes money, but you arent as screwed as the original ticket...
Unless you have a good case, or were already cut a severe break by the cop issuing the ticket, on the scene, this will probably be your best bet.
Also check out if your state offers online traffic schools that get rid of points. Keep in mind, fines suck, but it is the points that will cost you money over the long run.

I had a suggestion, i thought it sounded good.
Plead not guilty, I had dumped alot of money into my car, it had ben in an accident. 7+ g's
Tell them the accellorator got stuck, buy a spring to replace the old one and tell them i fixed it.
The throotle DOES gt stuck sometimes.... but when i try to show ppl it usually doesnt work, when i was cleanin gthe TB it got stuck and i had to jam the pedal to unstick it.

If you say that, then you will definatly NOT get it reduced. That's like saying you didn't mean to shoot somebody, the gun just went off. Go in there talk to the DA or ADA and tell them the deal, you're a good driver you just had a slip blah blah blah. Courts don't like their time being wasted with silly excuses like that one. Peace-

nope. Excuses don't work. If you admit that you did something wrong and play the pity game than maybe. It's best to present facts. Like in my case where i was doing 31 over if i go and fight the ticktet, I plan to take pictures of the entire area and calculate the distance between speed limit signs. How i've never had a ticket before, and how i've driven all across the country. You need to show the court that it was either an accident or that it was a freak occurance that will never happen again. Whats the story behind your ticket? Were you just flying, did you not know the speed limit, or what? Peace-

I worked 8-4 that day and my class was at 4:30 my releif came in late and I was motoring to make it to school LESS late, didnt really know the speed limit on that road.
Can I get my license pulled for this?

But you gotta understand, how many times do you think that the court has heard that before? and do you think they really care? Have you had any tickets before? what state are you in? and how many points do you have on your license allready? You prolly won't get your license pulled unless you have a bad record and have many points on your license. The main concern is that your insurance is going to skyrocket. For my ticket of 31 over (76 in a 45) I'll be lucky if my insurance doesn't get cancelled and if it doesn't it's gonna go up by like at least 1K a year. Peace-

Yes your license could be pulled. Its called wreckless driving and driving to endanger.

Look I already said it. The court has heard all these BS excuses, etc. before. They don't care and will just get irratated with you for even trying to use them. Just go and meet with the cop or DA and try to get them to lower the charge. They always try to bargain with you.
Then go take Defensive Driving, becuase with multiple tickets, your insurance is gonna start screwing you, if they don't drop you completely.

How do I do that exactly, do I have to plead not guilty?
