Integra motor

What would be the biggest motor and best configuration to fit into a 1994 Integra GS-R. And if anyone who might have done such a thing, give me some insight into going about this swap. Also, I am looking at getting the motor, changing whatever I need to and upgrading ALL of the internals. I am looking for the whole shi-bang. I am not worried about pricing right now. Anyone with any information, please email me at [email protected] or repost to this thread. thanks

I would say keep or put in another b18c1, build it, and turbo it. But this is going to be a matter of opinion. If you want to go n/a you could still run the b18c1, or if you had the money you could go with the b18c5 or the k series. It is really up to you. But if it was me I would stick with the b18c1, it is a proven platform, easy to mod, and one of the best engines honda has ever produced.

I agree that the b18c1 is a very nice motor. But i am looking for sheer power. I have heard of people putting h22a's into integra, Anyone think it would be worth it? I am talking about doing everything to the motor. Cleaning it up if needed, new pistons, rings, oil pump, water cooler, head change maybe (or whatever i decide) new valves, springs, cams, EVERYTHING. I want to just have a beast. I want to put the biggest powerplant into the engine bay. Building up a b18c1 with turbo and what not will not be as powerful as building up a h22a with a turbo and all.

also i am going to build up everything else, such as intake manifold, fuel system, ecu, probably a turbo or supercharger (depending), exhaust, electronics and everything. Anyone have any suggestions on anything please let me know.

H22a turbo is absolutely sick. Sleeve the engine (you will have to if you want aftermarket pistons), 9.5:1 pistons, rods, crower turbo cams and valvetrain, BlackTrack Performance intake manifold port (http://www.blacktrax.net/btp_H22_IM.html), stiff suspension, and some sticky ass tires.

That is not necessarily correct. IMO it would be pointless to swap out a gsr motor for an h22 in an Integra, I know some will disagree. The amount of time and money for the swap could be spent on building the gsr motor. What is your power goal other than "shear power?" Is this a daily driver, a street/strip car or a race only car? It seems like you are all over the place and don't know what exactly you want. Your questions are extremely broad. You need to do some research and then come back and we can answer your more specific questions.

alright, i just want to know what is the biggest engine i can fit into the engine bay of the integra. The only reason i was giving all of the other information was because, maybe it would be a matter of what mods would be put on the motor. I just strictly want to know what is the biggest sized motor i can fit into my integra engine bay without cutting to much shit.

People are approaching ~900 WHP on gasoline with B18C motors. H22's don't offer you the same broad aftermarket, and you have to deal with all the bullshit with their shitty trannies. The biggest engine you could do right now would be a K24, have that sleeved and stroked to 2600+ CC's, but that doesn't make any sense right now. A 300 WHP car would feel stupidly fast to you, so why do you feel the need to go overkill with everything.

because it seems like what i have seen is that most people trick out the b18c1's and i have never really gone with the trend. Not saying that people don't trick out h22a's but i just want to stay away from the norm.
