yea, that's rediculous price...
plugs, get NGK v-power. plugs are preferable, but go on www.probegarage.com and you can find some nice performance/functional wires for $75, (as well as those ngk v-power plugs for like $2 a peice) also they have basicly everything you could need for a tuneup. i'd get a fuel filter and air filter if they havn't been changed recently. plus a rotor for your disty. unless your throwing a cel from bad 02 sensors, i wouldn't bother w/ replacing them, won't do anything for you... and if they go, it's not going to screw you over, just simply stop in at advanced auto or something and get a bosch o2 for like $75.

oh yea the ngk are perfered, because they are made specificly for our engines. DON'T get any platnum plugs, as they produce to high of a spark and will screw up your engine,
