I dont seem to have any power gong to my brake lights. checked all the fuses, replaced the break light switch and still not working. All the tail light functions ie flashers, signals backup lights work fine. Any ideas,
Thanks

we have the same problem with our 2004 dodge dakota. started after we hooked up the trailer. trailer unhooked and no brake lights on the truck. anyone know how to fix it?

Did you check to see if you are getting power to the sockets?

power to all sockets, except the brake socket.

Did you check the fuse(s) for power and continuity? Did you check to see if power is going to the brake light switch? How did you install the brake lights for the trailer? Could this possibly be a warranty issue?

yes, we checked the fuses, etc., and for power going to the brake switch. we even replaced the brake switch. the trailer was hooked up with the standard wiring. there is power running to all the trailer switches, except the brake (which makes sense since the truck's brake lights are not working). we are going to try rerunning all the brake wiring since there is no other obvious cause.
