I cannot seem to find the camshaft position sensor. The haynes book says on the back side of the head, well i do not see it there. Is it under some stuff? I cannot see it being hidden since it has to be on the head.
I will post a pic of my head if i cannot get accurate replies.
Thanx Guys

Now this may sound stupid but the picture you took looks like this picture i just took. That plug has 1 wire going into the main harness and the other end leads down by the fire wall somewhere.
Still cannot upload pics to forum for some reason so i had to do it this way.

Your camshaft sensor is right below your intake cam gear. They came like that on 95-96 motors. The above picture looks like a 6 bolt.

Oh sorry I forgot it's different from 6bolt and 7. I'm not familar with the ones on the 95/96 7bolt. Sorry I couldn't be more of a help...

It's not even just a 6 bolt 7 bolt thing. The 97-99 had the sensor in the same location as the 1g. But it is still different since all OBD2 motors will have the seperate crank and cam position sensors, while the 1g CAS sent out both signals from the same unit.
