I found this article and pix in an arabic magazine and here is the translation:
"Finally, Audi gave Lamborghini the green light to test its new small supercar the L140 or what could be called "Gallardo".
The car is tested now under a smaller-Diablo body. The car will be the main competitor of the Ferrari 360. The L140 will have a new V10 engine produces abut 450 hp and 6 manual speeds through the rear wheels. The chassis and the engine will be made of aluminum and the weight will be around 1400 kg.
The car will accelerate to 60mph in less than 4.2 seconds and the top speed will be more than 185 mph. The coupe model will be ready for Geneva Motor show in March 2003, while the roadster car and the Murcielago roadster will be available for sale in 2004. Lamborghini is planning to produce about 1300 cars every year, with price about $148,000.
The design of the car will be more aggressive than the Murcielago, but it will have some details from the Murcielago design. Unlike the last small car from Lamborghini, the L140 will have the famous lambo-doors."
NOTE: the test car in the pictures is using a smaller Diablo's body to test the mechanical parts.
