fs 97 eclipse

first off all sorry if its in the wrong section, i cant find the classifieds.
I got a 97 eclipse gs auto, i know sounds bad but the car is super clean. mostly stock, replaced head gasket, timing chain and water pump.
And it has 120k. Im asking 4800 obo. ohh and dont know if you care about sound, but i got a 500 dollar sony deck.

those wheels looks good, is that powdercoat??? how much did it cost to get done? i need to do that to my winter wheels.

Don't expect to sell it on here very fast.

1. Your asking too much. I don't care what mods you have, your not gonna get the value back for them.
2. There isn't exactly a huge demand for an automatic N/T with 120k.
3. The amount of rice on that car is not extreme, but I wouldnt buy it with all that shit on it.
4. For nearly 5k, you could get a GST.

yeah, what's up with all the sickers and chrome pieces...to me it would look alot cleaner without ANY of the stickers or chrome pieces.

lol, sorry those stickers were there when i got the car and never took it off, the chrome looking thing is not chrome, its kinda rubberish. I havent done anything to the car. And there is no rice on this car. There is only three stickers. A catback and injen intake. I wouldnt call that rice.

im lowering the price to 4500

Well, you never know you might find a person to buy it. But like l_eclipse_l said its hard to get that much money for a N/T auto. Plus with summer ending it will make it harder to sell. Spring time you will have better luck if you still have it.

ill put it in my local newspaper, i see 95 and 96 rs and gs eclipse sell like crazy. and then buy another gst or gsx

You can pick up the TSI AWD cheaper than the GSX. Its all about the name i guess. I picked up my Talon for $4500 2 years ago.

Definately better than the Talon setup IMO.

i also like on the eclipse when the center piece is the same color as the body, dont know about others.

Hey what you could do though.... you could try putting it on EBAY... or DSMTUNER............. those sites get lots of hits for people buying things..... don't give up on it just yet, although timing is everything, i would agree on selling it during the spring...

Speaking from experience, if you sell this car in a hurry, you will not get as much as you want. You should keep trying the papers and hold out until someone comes up with the price you are asking. Are there any colleges near by? College kids are always looking for cars that get good gas mileage. Anyway, good luck with it.

i think 4500 is a little high but mcome on its not that bad,i bet you could get that,shit a local shop wants to give me 4000 for mine mine it has a stock body and 110k on it
