when i was drivin down the highway the battery light flickered on and off about 2-3 times. not sure of what it is, because wouldnt it normally stay on if something was wrong??

clean all connections on your alternator, if you see the light flicker after cleaning your connection, your regulator might be on it's way out or your
brushes might be at their end.
