Lowering Springs

I have been wanting to lower my car with new springs, I heard that I would have to buy new shocks and everything other wise the ride would be really bumpy and uncomfortable. Is this true.

No, its not even close to being true.
You can just cut coils if you want. Not only will it lower it, it stiffin it up a bit.
Now if you go too low, then you run into issues.

Im just trying to learn all this stuff so if I seem dumb sorry...but I did not think that stiff was good.

Stiffer, not stiff :)
You will have a slight notice in ride qualty, but should be a little more level in corners.
