Weight Capacity

I have a 02 TB, and loving it. Recently, I went to buy some flooring and used my truck to haul it away. I placed the second seat down and started loading my truck. I really didn't pay any attention on how much weight was going on the truck. I proceeded to start the car, and... it would not start. It wasn't the battery. Battery was new. It just would not start. Luckly, a friend was close by and unloaed a few boxes of my TB and on to his pick-up. Went to try once more, and it started. I never heard of this , nor do I haul anything with my TB but is this true. If you excced the weight capacity of the truck, the vehicle would not start?

Own one have plenty of info on it, never heard of this.

Weird, I have loaded my 02 TB LT with 4 people inside, full of stuff for a trip, and towed my 3900-4000lbs boat with no problems. That is really weird that it wouldnt start. Did you put the boxes back in the TB after you go it started? How many times did you try to start it when it was loaded?

Yeah that does sound strange.

This past weekend, i had about 5 rolls of ice protection for roofs(about 100lbs each), and like 20 bundles of shingles(about 75-100lbs each) and everything was fine.
That like 2500lbs, it was sittin' realy low, but it started fins and I had to drive about 20km from my homedepot store.

I cant see hardwood or laminate flooring being more weight that this.
maybe you should get it checked out.
