Engine Performance

Hi,

My family has a 1999 Tiburon FX,
currently it's got a intake, exhaust, and i'm getting headers installed. What should I modify next? anyone got a list that can do up some hp NA?

so far my mods are:

Custom Cat back exhaust
AEM Cold Air Intake
OBX Headers (ordered already)
H&R lowering Springs
17" Motegi Mags w/Yoko Tires
KDM Bodykit (not sure which one though/or the style name)
Double Wing Aluminum Spoiler


Once I get some time and when i'm not too lazy i'll get get some pics.
My other vehicles are a 99 Sonata V6, Montana also

Well, how much money are looking to spend? Are you wanting to keep it naturally aspirited, or are you wanting to go forced induction?

The next two mods I would recommend you get are a big bore throttle body and either bore out your intake manifold, or get a new one altogether. Both can be found at www.kspec.com . If you're wanting to get the Air Ram IM on there, send me a PM, and I'll link you to another forum that's having a group buy on them.

port and polish your intake manifolds.. and your heads...
get some cams, and youll be a freakin monster (in terms of beta engines n/a...)

go higher compression once your done porting and polish and gett bigger valves when you porting and polish
