first off, it doesnt seem that important.

second, wouldnt you rather dress up your own ride than have others dress it up for you?

well, first of all i just put important where someboy would reply. Second, i am gonna dress up my own car but i haven't ever done it before. i was just wantin to know if anybody had 18's and thought they were too big or hurt the performance of the car or if 17's looked too small. I make the choices here, i was just looking for advice.

i have 17's on mine and i think they're perfect. 18"s look good but they hurt acceleration, not considerably but 17"s look good enough not spend the extra money on 18"s, plus 18"s are generally heavier. and i'm sure you're well aware of the prelude's weight problem already. if you're more for show than go, then yeah, the 18"s look real good on preludes. but in my opinion, 17"s are just fine.

you need to lower your ride if you get aftermarket wheels and want to make it look good. it's gonna look like a rally car if you dont.
