which header????????

Ok, I found Matrix Ceramic coated header for 175
and a arospeed Chrome header for 175.

Which of these would be better? Anyone have these? Do they just plane suck?, they couldnt be wors than a pacesetter.

Does anyone know the diameter of the main pipes, and the collector pipe on these headers by chance?

Just save up and bite the bullet and get DC Headers, the best in the game! Thats what I did, I was looking into the Matrix Also, but I did not want to spend the money on something that I was going to regret getting like my Short Ram, I ended up getting an APC (cheap) intake, but then realized that it was crap. I wish I would have gotten an AEM, but for now, I just got a K&N to top off the APC. Go with DC Sports, that is just my opinion!

I know DC headers have a great reputation and offer performance to back that up, but what about the new JG/Edelbrock Headers?

I had read that the Honda engineers did a good job designing the header of different B series engines, because the gains of various aftermarket headers offered small performance gains compared to stock.

eldebrock headers suck. they used them in scc in thier project civic on a b16a. the 4-2-1 gained 1.something hp and the 4-1 added 4hp. they suck.

i like the gains i got from my chikara you can order them through summit and they arent that expensive unless you want the coated ones.

What difference will it make if you got the ceramic coated versus the stainless steel headers? Is one better than the other? What exactly does the coating do?

Has anyone heard of or tried Kamikaze headers? A friend thought it funny that I'd consider putting something in my Japanese car that's called Kamikaze... :)

i am gettign kamakazi i heard they are better if you are going supercharger or nos b/c they are thicker than the dc but they have the saem design and internal diameter.

as fare as ceramic vs stainless steel the ceramic are better at being at disapating heat and the stainless steel are better at being shiney so if your a go guy get the ceramic and if your a sow guy get the steel

Does anyone know where the O2 sensor is on that Kamikaze intake? And why does it make a difference where this is on any intake system? I don't really know the real reason for asking except the mechanic I asked to install mine (since I'm no mechanic myself) said to find out if I can. Maybe someone can give me a quick and dirty explanation on this, or at least point me in the right direction for a better understanding.

your gonna need to install the O2 sensor in the part of the headers pipe where it comes back into one pipe. that way it will give the proper O2 readings to the ecu.
