need new speakers

I have a 2001 pontiac grand am se 2.4 with the monsoon stereo sytem. When i got the car the 6x9's 4way were blown only the driver side worked. I bought kenwood 6x9's 160w 2 way and only the driver side works. I cant find after market 4 ways but i wondered if my wiring could be bad or if it matters whether i put in 2way on a 4 way. Also it says i have 8 speakers well i only see 6. And was wondering were the Amp is. I am desperately looking for someone who knows about these Monsoon Stereos!!!!! :banghead:
