engine temp sensor (gauge)

My temprature gauge is not reading at all..the truck warms up and the needle sits at the bottom. Dose anyone know where the engine temp sensor for the gauge is located on a 89 s-10 4.3? also how many terminals (1 or 2 pin) thanks

If you go to the dealer, which you'll probably need to do to get the sensor, they have a blow up picture of the engine and location of the correct tempurature sensor (there are usually two sensors: one for the engine computer and one for the gauge/dash light). They should be able to print the page for you so you can find the right sensor.
