I have been busy with takig care of ill wife, so I haven't gotten to it yet. Do you know the part number for a V6 engine? So I can get it when I have a chance.

Joe, Before replacing your PCV valve, check your owners manual; you may be entitled to a FREE replacement of the valve by FORD. Such was the case for my 1998 Explorer 5.0 V8 EB.

Not sure what the part# is, but the best way to get the correct OEM PCV for your truck would be to ask a FoMoCo parts associate at your local dealer. Its not as exspensive as some think!

The pcv valve is located in the back of the upper intake at the fire wall drivers side , its a twist in style and usually a small pair of pliers is needed to turn it the half turn necessary for removal, cant remember Part# but if asked bu Ford part guy its the black one
