AC problems

I have a 99 dakota sport reg cab, and just recently the cooling effect of my ac stopped working. I checked my freon level and it was good. when I turn the ac on (full blast) the ac clutch will kick on but only for about 2 or 3 second then cut out. it keeps doing this. any one know why. thank you

i have the exact same problem, but when i put a pressure gauge on the low service port, it jumps to the red zone. the inlet pipe is very cold as well, but the air output in the cabin is maybe only a 1 or 2 degrees colder than the ambient air. hopefully someone can help us.
