Here she is, my in progress thingy since a long time, originally a quickie, but with the paint problems, I decided to make it in a more or less believable state!

Here it is...

wow, you did a nice job in this, the weathering's really convincing.
I've been looking for ages for one of these, especially the rs 800 version revell made. You must have had the last one :)

Oli, I must admit. When you mess things up you do it in style. It looks as if a Berlin Wall brick fell on it.
Please stay away from my models ok?

:iagree: - great job!

If I remember correctly, Trabants just dissolve in a glass of warm water... :)

Hey Oli.
Very good job
You really improved your skills during my absence. I certainly lost a lot of other interesting projects.

Erm, good thing this thread is up, it's mostly done today.

It will get a spray-over with some dirty smoke and shit from the airbrush tomorrow to cover up some oops mistakes.

As for you ales, when's your supposedly next model? By end 2009 soonest? :)))

pics will be coming when I get my hands on a digicam (by the end of the week)

Looks so shitty!! Great job on that!! Is this a diecast? I have never seen this kit before. Keep up the awsome progress!

Naw, a model, made in 1990,by revell Germany. there's also a rallye version of it.

Probably the worst I ve ever built.

Mold line galore, sink holes everywhere, nothing fitting, everything flimsy, no rubber tyres (the rims and tyres are one plastic piece! )

hte lights are true crap, the detail is hiddeous.

But I love it!

difficult kit, even more difficult to find it, but such a monument of a car, I couldn't not have it!

If i had seen this earlier, i could have send you an article of a modeling magazine, which shows all corrections this kit needs to look like the real one.

Very nice work,Oli! :bigthumb: Great weathering :grinyes:
