G35 in winter conditions

Has anyone driven this car in any kind of 'Winter" weather. My wife loves this car and wants one. I am not sure how it would handle in winter conditions even with snow tires. She has a commute of about 25 miles.
I'd rather she drive a front or all wheel drive car.

The G35 will have a limited slip diff. option, but that kind of power and RWD in the snow is still pretty scary unless you are trying to find a quick way to get rid of your wife;) .
The only 2 AWD options I can think of that would have similar performance and handling characteristics to the G35 (and still have the luxo-appeal) are the BMW 330xi and the Audi S4 quattro. The S-4 is probably more bang-for-the-buck than the BMW. It's a 250 HP twin-turbo V6 with AWD. It starts at about $38K, pretty-well loaded. With all the options you could get to 42-43K. Comes w/6-speed or man-u-matic. Here are some pics...

Thanks for the input. I've looked into the Audi and the BMW. The only drawback is going from the G35 which is 33K equipped as we like to a 40K vehicle which is a bit over budget.
As far as getting rid of my wife.....;)

PS-She likes the Jag X-Type, however only the 2.5 is in the budget and I'm afraid after driving a 99 I30 the engine will be too wimpy.
