Hey guys
Just wanted to know if it's okay to use 100% carnuba wax on my model kits. A couple guys here said that some waxes contain silicone, and would harm the finish in the future. The reason I ask is because I already have some 100% carnuba wax here, and I don't have a way of getting Tamiya wax/polish at this time. Any help is greatly appreciated!

If it's 100% carnuba wax it is good for putting a protective SHINE on the paint ! It won't remove any imperfections !

Yeah, I realize... I don't know what made me type "polish." :) Anyway, I think I have polishing down pretty good, since I've been practicing a LOT on an old scrap body.
I just wanted to know if pure carnuba was okay to use on models, and it sounds like it is. :) Thanks for the info.
