My 87 is being sanded and prepped for new paint. It was (and will be again) a medium blue metallic. Any ideas for stripes, subtle flames? or graphics? It has the 305 roller rocker motor, 4bbl carb, automatic, hardtop. Original was the red/white/blue stripe. Maybe something with gold.

I'm kind of an artist so I can help out. A hardtop? You don't see many of those anymore. you mean the stripe at the gfx? What were your ideas? like with the gold. Flames can look good if done right, I saw etched flames on cardomain and they looked pretty sweet. Depends on what image you wanna convey. And remember, you gotta think about how often police will notice you if you have flames on it. So think it through and get some concepts down.
I'm new, so anyone else can help you look cool more than I can. We need more opinions...

That is true--this Camaro has earned me plenty of citations even without flames. I like the idea of the etched flames, but what is cardomain?

Can't find it for now because I erased my history but Cardomain.com is a site to show off your car and mods. I'm actually surprised you haven't heard of it.
The third gen was blue with flames that are really hard to see depending on what angle you're looking at it from.
If you want really cool looking flames, you want to be able to see them, a different color. Do you mean painted or decals?

I checked out Cardomain and saw some very nice Camaros. Thanks for the tip. Alot of rally stripes--they seem to suit the car. I probably will go for a decal type of artwork--have you ever seen anything that goes under the paint? I want it to look classy and enhance the sparkly paint--not look like it's just pasted on. Painted on would be possible if I could find a good template or even a good idea that's easy to reproduce.
