This question is related to Geo Metros.....
Our new/used '93 Tracker LSI has some button type things on the
roll-up side windows.
They are on the top-outside rubber molding (at about 10 oclock)
and seem to be there to hold the window in place as one rolls the window up.
These devices are SORELY NEEDED on Geo Metros with NO
SLOTTED MOLDING like I have on my '93 Geo Metro.
My Metro side windows just press against the car molding and at
high speed are pulled away from the molding by the wind causing
a loud howling sound.
If I could get these plastic button devices like Trackers have on
their windows, the Metro window would be held tightly against the
door molding when the window is up!
Does anyone know WHAT these things are called (named) and
where I can buy some of them...?

Sounds like you need to take a trip to the yard. On my 95, it has those tabs you are speaking of, and I'm sure with a little finesse you could make them work on your 93.
