I could use some help out there. I'm looking at buying my first Camaro and would like some guidance on the vehicle I'm looking at to determine if it's worth the asking price.
I'm looking at a '68 RS Convertible with the 327/210 and Powerglide. Options include power top, AC, AM/FM, Rally wheels, and power steering. The car has the original Butternut paint which is in like new condition, a new top, the interior is good but has been changed to black from parchment. The motor runs well and has been rebuilt at some time in its past. Tranny is solid and the car runs out well. The current owner has been able to document its life, starting in Arizona, moving to North Carolina, and then settling in Iowa.
The asking price is $21K firm. I think it's probably worth that and more, but being my first, I would love some input.

Well let me put it like this... if I had the money, then I'd definately buy it. The value of the older maros is rapidly increasing each year. Sounds like a heck of a good deal.
