What does everyone suggest, I am looking for good cornering and a close to stock comfort level. Any ideas?

as for shocks, i'm a big fan of toicko adjustable and non-adjustable shocks. Then Koni makes their usual kill adjustables. And if your on a budget KYB also makes adjustable and non-adjustable shocks for our cars. I'd say get the toicko's my experience with them has just been great. As for getting adjustable or non-adjustable just depends if you intend on doing any racing (adjustables) or just having a fun car to drive (non-adjust.) If your looking for good stock feelin setup i'd say eibach prokit springs with non adjustables. And if you intend to go racing more than a few times get adjustables with like the progress springs those are very nice.

and the rule of thumb....DO NOT GET AROSPEED!!! :D

Two words for struts:
Auto Zone
They sell bilstin struts which I like a lot. The best part is that they only cost about $100 each.
For springs I have progess springs that I am happy with for only costing $150.

when you say if you intend to go racing more than a few times get adjustables
do you mean for autoXing? ....I plan on drag racing weekly at the local track but Im not sure if I want to shell out the extra $$$ if I don't need them for the type of driving I do

Someone said weapon-r's give a great ride quality and almost zero body roll. Other than that ground controls would be nice.

I'd have to say that the weapon r's cut down on body roll a little bit, but combined with my tokico blues, the ride is a lil bouncy, which might be because of my N/A shocks. but oh well, i got a great deal when i got them :)

Yea I ment autocrossing or road racing take your pick. I just didn't know what you did with your car thats why i threw that out there. Yea for just having some fun on road and drag racing get standard performance shocks you'll be just fine.

As for anyone wonder about the weapon R coilovers. Well they are better than arospeeds at least hehe. Actaully if you have good shocks and balance the weapon R's right they will treat you good i've know 1 or 2 people that have been quite happy on them. I think they are always gonna be a bit on the bouncy side but nothing i would worry about. However for the money i think i'd just make the jump to ground control coilovers.

I wouldn't touch them. My rule of thumb when it comes to suspension parts, is you get what you pay for.

Cheap parts = shitty ride.

Believe me I would love to only pay $70 for a set of good coiloivers, but I don't think that will happen.

I can put together a crazy package with Progess Springs, Progress Shocks, Progress sway bars.. But that one will be VERY pricy. The progress shocks are really expensive.

If you want an afordable package i can do Tokico Shocks, Progress Springs, Progress sway bars.

I'll get you a price when i get home from school today.

Skynex: Well I bought the cheap ebay springs, and suprisingly they are very good quality. They were manufactured by A+ performance and when my friend saw them who has a teg he said they were better than his coilovers due to certain things that are hard to explain  .

How do you know that they are good quality? Did you install them already?

Not to plug 90civicrider or anything (though i'm sure he appreciates it ;) ) but progress right now probaly has some of the meaniest equipment out there, period. They test their stuff pretty aggressivly. My shop friend went to tech school with the owner of progress they know each other really well. So naturally down at the shop ALOT of people swear by progress parts. 90civicrider has some decent prices so I wanted to mention to everyone if you can afford the parts jump on them. They build there things good to, i've seen their sway bars compared to others and the progess stuff always seems simplier in design and better build quality. Their springs rock though, i like my eibach prokit springs but for handling balance they will not touch the progress ones...can't wait to switch over later this year :silly2:
