OK i'm takin off the emissions on my intake manifold right now. ANd i was wondering if any of u guys has done it yet because i got a couple question. The vacuum hose right under the throttle body can i take that off or does it have to stay connected. If it stays connected it will run with all the little lines on the lower piece of the manifold and it will be open in the back. And if i can take it off what should i plug it with? ANd also behind the motor u know that plate that bolts up with all the vacuum hoses can i take that off or should it stay on because i can see that it has some connectors on it.

slideways...

ummm keep that plate on the back of the head on there. im not sure but i think the hose under the TB is vacuum hose that isnt emissions related. where does it go to?
im assuming you have the SOHC motor?

its beyond me why anyone would fuck with the emissions anyways...not like your gonna have a 10 sec car afterwards or anything. you might get 3.1415926535898 hp from all your work, and your car wont run the same ever again
