S2000 vs. Porsche GT2

i was just out ridin in the s2000 and i was headin up towards mt soledad.. and i was truckin up the hill and at the light in front of me there;s a nice, looks brand new, gt2.. so the light turns and he floors it.. takes off bat out of hell, you know.. anyway he stops after 1st and i catch up .. then he wait for me and kicks it, but i had already gotten on it so i kept with him for a few around a few turns and a few bumps. then we are coming to the sharp corner at the top he slams breaks down to 2nd, makes a wonderful noise for me to hear, and i wasn't about to race him down the back side of soledad that's just stupid.. so i let him go and turned around up top .... it's too bad he didn't stop i wanted to get a look at it.. but it was fun for the 1/2 mile i chased him ...

GT2 is one of the fastest production cars made on earth. 0-60 in under 3.4sec, very quick.

And you drive........? If it's a Benz, it better say AMG on it to be raping GT2s, unless you have aftermarket on it.

whats the hp on a gt2. isnt it like 480 or 490.

haha yeah, just yesterday I was driving back home from work and I noticed a benz that was an AMG and he was being quite the dick swurving and what not, I decided i shouldn't try anything with him to save myself some embarassment :p

i believe the gt2 comes stock with 480... but there is an option for over 500...

i would like a gt2. maybe when i am older. but when i get outta college i am looking up to u cuz i wanna get like a s2k. or by then it will be a s2k-6.:D

yea.....there's this gt2 around my neighborhood.....that shit is sweet.....i've never seen it in motion though......always parked.....yea...i had the same reaction too...i saw it was a 911....then got closer....saw the side vents and everything....i was like....ohhh shit......
did anyone who made it to the LA auto show see the BRABUS showcase?.....they have some nice cars.....but AMG is tight....i saw a cl 55....nice....i would love to drive a fixed up german car when i get older.....the g-wagon looks pretty tight...but it looks old-fashioned

i wasn't trying to race him i was trying to keep up to get a look...
but of course if you were in a gt2 and saw some dick in an s2000 gunnin it up your ass, you'd think he wanted to race too....
i just wanted a good look at it, but he just hit it and sent me for a ride..
but at least i got a nice look and got to hear that sweet porsche sound...

0-60 on a 911GT2 is around 3.8sec--still very quick, but its not a McLaren killer. also the4th, what option do they offer for over 500hp...maybe you've seen a DIN rating, but i'm pretty sure there isn't a (production) Porsche that has over 500 SAE bhp.

as i said before i don't really know i thought i saw an ad for another tuned version... perhaps a non road legal version.. ???

Up until recently, I used to think Twin Turbo Supra's were God's, because I've seen Hybrid Honda's pound Corvette's and LS1's, but this weekend on a daily cruise, I saw a Z06 hauling ass and an obviously modified Supra TT struggling to be in range of his tail lights.

yes you are correct...6 liter N/A V-12 putting out upwards of 600bhp and close to 500 lbs-ft.

i honestly doubt u saw a gt2. "looks brand new" no shit gt2 are for 02 so of course it would be new. do you know how rare those are.
they only plan on sending like 100 or so to the U.S. and they cost like 179,000. and it has a 3.6L flat6 456 HP
and someone stated that they thought they saw a 911 and then realized it was a gt2. ok.. if u knew anything, you would have known right away if it was a gt2 or not. a 911 turbo and a gt2 look totally different.
the 911 has a retractable wing that pops up at like 70mph the gt2 has a huge wing that doesn't retract. the front facia of the gt2 is different from the 911. the gt2 has a slit in front of the luggage compartment for downforce.
i live for cars i am constantly looking for cars.... i have yet to see a cobra R and there are more of those than there are gt2's.

the turbo 996 has 420 hp
the gt2 has 464 or so

if the car is an 02, and it is 02, it could be sold in 01.

and they're rare yes, but so is a RUF, which is hella more expensive, and way more rare.

you have a lot better luck in seeing a gt2 over a RUF, especially one of the 996 based ones..

the mc laren is NATURALLY aspirated, not NON aspirated...
a non aspirated car is like a non aspirated person, dead or not running... hard to do 220 when you aren't running...

i heard the saleen s7 is one of the fastest road cars now. they COULD hit 240, but no one really has the balls to hit that yet. But i'm not too sure on that.
