Truck is driving me crazy........

Ok.... I think this truck is cursed. I have a '93 pickup with a 22re. The problem is it is idiling like crap. It will idle high for a liitle while and then it will start loping, rpms going up and down. When I apply the brakes it damn near stalls out and then it will rev back up continuing to lope, just more severe then when I am not holding the brake. It does this constantly. I have replaced the valve cover gasket, pcv valve, fuel filter, check all the vaccum hoses visually and with ether, and ran seafoam through it. Nothing is working and I am beginning to lose my patience. I have talked to a few people who work on cars around here and they can't figure it out. It seems to me to be a vaccum leak, but I can't seem to find the damn thing. ANY help would be appreciated.

I've heard of that on other cars, have you checked the fuel pressure regulator? (I'm not sure of the location on your truck)

Clean your IAC and EGR valves

Maybe your brake booster is lbad and is giving you a vacuum leak. Have you checked for stored trouble codes yet?

Try the self diagnostic sustem to see if there is some trouble codes.Sometimes this will guide you to the problem.
