Hi Everybody,
Recently, my 1999 Crown Victoria when cold has been stalling at idle. In other words I start the car in the morning or after its been sitting for several hours, and it will not quite idle high enough to stay running. If I sit with the accelerator depressed slightly it will continue to run, but the moment I take my foot off the gas it stalls.
This condition continues for a few mins (as much as 10) and eventually, it will idle correctlly.
My first thought was to get a bottle of fuel injector cleaner with my next fill up but for some reason I don't think that will fix it.
Anybody else run into this problem?

Check the idle speed control motor. They will get dirty and hang. You can remove and clean or replace it. Cost is fairly cheap and an easy replacement procedure.
