I finally finished my superdetailing Newman-Haas Lola T93-00 Ford.
The body was painted with Tamiya Spray and the rest was brush painted with Acrilic Tamiya paint. Then I apply a heavy brush clear coat of Tamiya acrilic clear.
I have to thanks to some F1M groups members and some owners of real Lola T91 and T92 cars for their help in finding references that make possible to do this work.

Looks nice, why do you brush paint your clear? Not that it looks brush painted.. Very well done for a brush paint job.
Brave way to do it actually -does not not pull the decals off with the brush strokes?
Looks good anyhow.

Awesome looking build, Indy styled cars are way over looked. They serve as a great palette for detailing to the extreme.
You should be proud great work.

Thanks guys for your kind words.
mickbench - when i started making kits, i only brush painted them. Then i started to spray-paint but i have a very bad experience when use Tamiya clear. Then i decide to revert to the "old" metod.
Smoke20bbq - this is my first indycar kit, but i enjoy it very much... i think these model make very beautiful and sexy kits.
I try to take some detail pics... hope you like!

You sure did an excellent job with this, from the great engine detailing to the finish. Looks like you really put in a lot of hours and it turned out super.

Holy old thread warning..
But thanks, must have missed this one. Great build and Nige was the only man that could truly run with Senna....

The Tamiya clear i used was laquer... it destroyed the decals and the white become yellow!
Then i paint my Alfa 155 V6 Ti using tamiya acrylic clear over Tamiya spray. Initially the decals wrinkled but when the clear dryed everything was good!!!
