yes, sorry it took so long to get here, does it slightly work? Move a little but just not enough to lock the door? If so, its a problem with the actuator, if you get nothing, it could be a bad relay, or wiring. Maybe pull the door panel off, and check all the wiring and switches, as water may have gotten in there, and corroded some contacts.

Yeah, my lock does move a little bit but not enough to lock or unlock the door. thanks for the halp and does anyone know where i can get a new actuator? (preferably online)

ebay my friend, but before you go and spend all the money on a new actualtor, take a voltmeter, and measure the voltage getting to the actuator when you push the lock button. It should be supply battery voltage, around 12, and if its not, you may have a good actuator and connection issues somewhere.

Sometimes a soaking with WD-40 and light tapping with a small hammer will bring those actuators back to life, for a while, anyway.

Works on power window lift motors too.;)

good idea, my passenger side windor goes up and down really slow, and seems to increasingly get slower. I'll try that. Is it safe to just soak the whole things, even the connectors?

Hell yeah!

WD-40 is great for electrical connections. Removes corrosion and moisture proofs. I spray the battery terminals with it every time I have the hood up.

I shoot all the harness connectors with it before giving the motor it's seasonal bath. Also hit the coilpacks, wires, fusebox, etc to keep the water out.

Lotsa time a slow power window wants lube in the guides, rather than being a motor problem. Use some white lithium grease on them while you're in there.

will do, thankyou. Once again, its great to have you back.

Gotta pull the interior panel off, and follow the linkage.
