what will work/what wont work...
91 Celica St

i figured id post this because ive lost about $400 on parts ive bought that didnt fit and couldnt take back/take back with a fee )this all pertains to 90-93 st models)
axels- even though the corlla shares the engien w a celica and has nearly the same wheelbase, they WILL NOT work on an st, the cotter pin that holds then to the strut assembly on the outboard sides wont work becuase they are not long enoguh
spark plug wires- 7afe, 5sfe, 3sgte, 4age wont work, they use a diffrent method of not only holding the wires in on the D cap, but the actual little prong thingy (dont know what its called...lol) taht goes into the d cap is dirrfent, it will result in little to no spark (i found out the hard way )
flywheels- flywheels from anymotor except the 7afe wont work, any engine that toyota makes with an f head uses a 6 bolt flywheel pattern on the lower half, g head engines bottem ends come with a 8 bolt pattern....and no the 5sfe will not work on the 4afe, 200mm opposed to 226 (i think)
headers- 7afe headers will NOT WORK, they hang down about an extra 3 inches and will hit everything in the road, 5sfe headers have diffrent bolt patterns and wont work, corlla headers for the celica WILL work but coem up about 7 incheas too short....this can be fixed by
exhuast- so far ive never seen an exhaust system made directly for an st, as f now i have the hsk exhaust from a gt/s...it wil work but comes up about 5 inches too short to the cat
both the header and exhaust problems can be fixed, see our catalytic converters are 12 inches long, all you have to do is buy a straight pipe, and bolt your real cat to the new aftermarket header, the straight pipe for an st or gt/s to the cat, and the cat to the exuahst....it all mates up and makes it so you dont have to spend $100 at an exhaust shop extending your header or extending ur exhaust, that is exatly my setup right now, but i have a gutted cat and i bought a high flow cat offline
hope this helps a litte, ill add more plus swap and gt/s stuff later
