Rest In Peace Ramzi Morris

At 6:15 Saturday morning a friend of mine, Ramzi Morris, was driving down a back country road with two of her friends and a 26 year old when the driver, who was drunk at the time, lost control going around a turn and ran off the road, flipping, into a tree throwing Ramzi, 14, out of the car to her death.

One of the other girls, Amber Whitby (14 also) was put in critical care but walked out by noon. The last girl, Gwen (12) is in Memphis with a broken back and a number of other injuries. The driver, Shelley Crocker (26) was ok but is facing a number of charges, all of which she deserves.

I wrote this hoping you would give your thoughts and prayers to Ramzis family and identicle twin. Don't waste her death and drink and drive. I've lost way too many friends to this and seeing familys broken apart is a terrible image.

It happened in Milan, Tennessee on Gann road if anyone is local. Milan is about half way between Memphis and Nashville close to Jackson and Martin.

I forgot this part but it's important to me atleast. Amber said that Ramzi hadn't been drinking. She was just an innocent girl having fun and got what she didn't deserve. Lifes tragic so don't disrespect her and the countless other lives that were lost, think before you act.

Sorry about your friend. It's very tragic and it's a shame she didn't get a second chance to learn for her mistake.

Damn dude.. that sucks big time, I cant believe that 26 year old didnt think twice before driving.

See it's our homecoming week .. so they were out drinking all night. Shelley was dating Ambers dad and stole and car and took them out. So it's that much worse.

Drunk drivers are scum... I'm sorry for your loss... I hope he gets the worst of the worst.

That said why were two 14yr olds and a 12yr old out with a 26yr old who was drinking?

Gwen and Ramzi were Ambers friends. They were probably spending the night with Amber because her dad would let them do shit. This part of the story is a speculation but im sure they were drinking at Ambers house and lost their common sense and decided to go out driving.
