Hey guys I'm back. Just picked up cable internet and now I'm back in action to surf the forums.
Okay, so there's this hf in the junkyard that still has the manual tranny in it. Right now I'm trying to fix up my d15b1 so it'll be a good commuter for college till I can afford better. So here sooner or later, the good ol' clutch has to be replaced and for the last few years, when the time came, I knew I was going to do a tranny swap. So now's the time, but due to the way gas prices are, I really don't want to sacrifice my wonderful 40 mpg that I get outta her, but the need for a 5th gear is driving me crazy. So here's the question
Will an Hf crx tranny bolt right up to my d15b1 block? Now, will I have to swap axles or hubs or whatever is needed for a normal 5psd swap or is there nothing since this is off the hf and no other? Are the hf and 4spd manuals the same except one has a 5th gear? I wonder if they have the same gearing and all.
Well, hopefully you guys can help me out here cause I need all the help i can get. It's great to be back on the forums.

if you hatch is a dx you will have to swap hubs. dx and si hubs are the same spline count. std and hf are the same. yes the hf tranny will bolt to your block just fine.
