Thinking about getting in on the Ethanol fuel scene

I've been doing my homework lately on using ethanol for fuel. The fact that you can make your own fuel for next to free is wicked. Basically what you have to do is convert anything that the fuel touches to stainless steel (or some other material that the ethanol won't eat), and make sure you're getting the right A/F ratio. If just put regular Ethanol in your car, it will run mad lean, you've got to pump way more Ethanol into the engine than you do gas.

The first part is easy, but I'm not too sure about the second. There are some the ECU's on some OEM cars out there right now (FFV's, Flexible Fuel Vehicle), can change up the A/F ratio dynamically, so that they can run either gas, ethanol, or a combination.

There's obviously no chance of getting this to work on a D-Series CRX, (which I am currently running...), but what about a B or K swapped CRX with OBDII?

if you want to dump more fuel into the engine get bigger injectors, fuel pump, and chip your ecu with turbo edit, its not that hard of an accomplishment.

Yeah but I was looking for something that could automatically change the ratios on the fly. My car is a daily driver, not a race car, so sometimes I could have 100% gas, 100% ethanol, or anywhere in between.

But by doing more research, I think I answered my own question. For anyone else interested, check out what I found. Its this Brazilian company that sells a computer that you hookup to your fuel injection system.
