Gangster lean?

Yeah, that would best describe my car right now. Ever since I did my last oil change and I had my car on some jack stands, my car has been higher on the passenger side, then it is on the driver's side. I'm not sure if I had to do with me lowring the driver's side back onto the ground first, and the weight of the car just settling that side of the suspension more due to the weight, but after 3 weeks it seems like it should all be at the same height now. The passenger side is I'd say probably between ¼ and ½ of an inch higher than the driver's side. Don't go any say I'm just a fat ass and I'm the cause of this, because I only weigh 125 pounds, so that isn't it. I don't have any uneven distrabution of weight in my car, all that's in my trunk is my amp and sub, both of which are centrally mounted left to right. Could it just be from how the suspension settled when I lowered it off the jacks, or could like maybe my rear sway bar be bent or something, or am I just freaking out over nothing? :bloated:

the only thing i canthink of is the spring on the pass side didn't settle down properly, since springs have to be in a certain position cuz the shock mounts are shapped to fit the spring a certain way ( nevermind). anyways do u have stock springs and shocks?
if not, make this an excuse for some nice ground controls...

I would, but there's no fat g/f or fat friends either, in the picture. =\ And if I had a fat g/f, she's be on the side that's higher anyways, so it wouldn't make sense. ;)

I would check the springs to make sure they are seated properly like someone said. Maybe the springs bounded up on something.

Other than that how did you raise the car for the oil change?

I used a floor jack I got, to raise each side of the car in the front, to get a pair of jackstands positioned under the front jack points of the car, I did each side one at a time. :bloated: Nothing bizzare.

Then I would say the spring is not seated in the collar right. My GC coilovers come down out of the collars since they are shorter than the shock itself. I always make sure before lowering the car that the springs are seated properly.

I'll do that, how would I know if it's seated or not? And wouldn't it re-seat itself once driving around? Also would jacking up the front, each side at a time un-seat like the rears?

this is a common thing, there was a thread on this exact issue on the old purehonda site I remeber, for some reason the civic just sits a bit lower on the drivers side, my does the same thing, but I'm a fat ass, no one really notices but me unless I point it out it might have to do with the way the engine and tranny sits etc. anyways the only way to fix it is with coilovers, frankly it doesn't effect the performance and or looks so its not an issue with me :bloated:
