97 Towncar will not start

My 1997 towncar will crank but not start. I had the same problem last week. AAA came and said the emergency fuel pump switch may have been turned off. Tried the switch this time but it was already down. Twice last week when I filled my tank, I had fuel splash out when the tank got full. Not sure if this is related.

Check the power relays in the main power distribution box under the hood. There's 3 or 4 relays in that box where at least 2 of then can cause intermittant starting / running problems until they eventually fail 100%.

From memory, their all the same type and connector, so you can move them around for diagnosis purposes.
They run about $6.00 + at all the AP stores. Carry some spares in case you get a problem on a lonely, dark, deserted highway... :)

Take a look at the engine Cam sensor.
