car problems, it won't move (even in neutral)

ok so i drive to the wawa and once i come out. i try to back out of the parking lot. but the car wouldnt move. even when i put it in neutral, nothing happeneed. i could just feel it rocking back and forth. anyways, so saturday when i was at work. i had my dad go up there to wait for the tow truck. but he ended up getting the car to move. he said he just put the car in reverse, pressed on the gas real hard and the car just bounced back. so now the car runs, but here is the problem. when i have the car in park and press on the brakes. you can hear the gear shift lever click. so i pressed the brake again and once again, gear lever clicks. any idea what all this means??? now im nervous to drive my car because i dont want to get stuck again. it runs fine though. i made it home safe and everything.
