so yesterday my water pump took a damn dump on me so i had to use my boys mustang while he was at work, and on my way to the shop i rolled up on this ls1 z28. seeing we were having a dyno day i assumed he was on his way to our shop as well, so i rolled down my window, and asked him was his car fast...u know the typical mustang driver question lol. so he looked over and was like when the light hits green ill show u. now my boys car has a few mods to it but when the light went green this fool took the hell off! guys i cant even tell u how bad it was u would have died laughing if u saw it. i mean he shot out the hole so hard he left me sitting....and i was driving a auto so it wasnt like i messed up, i just got ass burned. so when i get to the shop i saw the guy and he asked me what happend, so i just told him i didnt have time to react because i was stoked by how he came out of the dig, it was crazy, i would love to know this guys 60ft because he hooked so damn good. but u all know i had to tell him it wasnt my car and i showed him mines lol. i wasnt taken that ass whoopen as mines..screw that it was that car lmao.

well i always knew how it was to own a mustang cause i use to own one, but back in those days i was in virginia and there wasnt many f bodies out there, so i never raced a ls1 maybe a lt1, alot of folks owned imports and i use to beat them down. and that guys car was bad azzed...it layed down 645hp and 65 something trq i think it was.....that car was a sexy beast! and i will never be use to being owned like that because im usualy the one doing the owning lol

They are production codes General Motor used for specific types of engines. Like a LT1 is its very own engine, it has a specific Intake, water pump is not a typical 350 SBC, Same goes for a LS1. GM has productions codes they use for lots of things but when people refer to LT1, they mean a 93 - 97 F-body (or 92 - 96 Vette or Impala or Caprice) 350 V8 or if they are refering they mean or if they are refering to a LS1 they mean a 98 - 02 346 5.7 V8 (or vette or so on and so on). Just codes to represent a specific engine and induction, thats all.

Haha you guys were right.. there was a 4.3 LT1 that was used in the Caprice, it was pretty weak though, around 180 HP.

EDIT- well actually I cant find if it infact was an LT1 but they did have a 4.3 in it.

lol glad to see the camaro show up the mustang today i was turning on to a one way street right and across there was a mustang turning on the same street so he hits it so i do after and well i am gone befor u can say wow that mustang sucks i was at least 2 or 3 cars lenghts ahead so he just gave up after about 3 or 4 seconds might of been just toying with me but who knows but i didnt get to say anythign to him because he stay about 4 lengths behind me even after i slowed down

Torque arm, lower control arms, oil pump (hopefully), Cometic head gaskets, brake lines, brake pads, spark plugs, March underdrive pulley should all be here sometime next week.
I should then be ready to start installing everything.
